As part of its statutory duties, the Chartered Science Advisory Board (SAB) will consider recommendations from the SAB Work Group for Review of Science Supporting EPA Decisions on planned EPA regulatory actions identified in the Fall 2023 Unified Regulatory Agenda (published on July 27, 2023). The SAB Work Group met on March 28, 2024, May 30, 2024, June 27, 2024, July 25, 2024, and August 29, 2024, to consider whether the Chartered SAB should review the adequacy of the science supporting planned EPA regulatory actions. The Work Group developed recommendations concerning planned regulatory actions.
