EPA's Office of Solid Waste and Emergency Response (OSWER) has asked for consultative advice on a Draft "Federal Inter-Agency Anthrax Technical Assistance Document" (TAD), an interim document developed in response to the 2001 anthrax incidents. OSWER has made this request on behalf of the U.S. National Response Team (NRT), an organization of 16 Federal departments and agencies, chaired by EPA. Member departments and agencies of the NRT are responsible for coordinating emergency preparedness and response to oil and hazardous substance pollution incidents. The NRT plans to revise the TAD after receiving consultative advice from the SAB.
